Our client in the Legal/Title & Real Estate industry on the Main Line is looking for a full-charge bookkeeper/Accountant on a direct-hire basis. They are a tightly-knit entrepreneurial team that believes in a great culture while delivering unparalleled service with a collaborative, fun team.

• Location - Main Line/Ardmore
• Salary - $70-$85K - based on education, experience and software skills
• Benefits - Vacation, 401k, Health Care, Annual Bonuses
• Hours/Schedule - 9 to 5 in office (some flexibility, standard hybrid schedule not available)
• Dress Code - Professionally casual - neat/relaxed, but respectful

Summary of position:

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated accounting professional to join our quickly growing family of companies. This is a new position, ideally suited for someone looking take initiative with our accounting work and keep operations running smoothly. This individual will be responsible for primary oversight of all accounting aspects of the businesses. Applicants should be independent, organized, and detail oriented; QuickBooks is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Reconciling bank accounts for multiple companies and make deposits
• Handle tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivables on a monthly basis.
• Perform AP and print/send checks
• Create and send monthly invoices to clients and track AR
• Log monthly credit card expenses.
• Maintain and organize accounting files.
• Complete tasks related to accounting and special projects as assigned

Experience Requirements:

At least 3 years of related work experience is required; more than 5 years of experience is preferred.

Associate Degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Quickbooks.
• Strong follow up skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to diagnose problems and and take initiative to resolve
• Ability and willingness to learn accounting software as needed.

Standard workplace applications with a basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Calendar. Must be proficient in use of electronics and capable of learnings company’s systems and software. Must be experienced in using QuickBooks.
