Job Description

PREMIER MARINE

NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

If you believe relationships move markets… if dealers know you by name… if you’re a hands-on leader ready to play bigger—climb aboard.

THE INVITATION

You know the marine industry. You’ve built relationships that span docks, dealerships, and decades. You’ve spent your career rolling up your sleeves, solving problems in the field, and turning trust into growth. Maybe you're currently a Sales Manager or District Sales Manager with deep OEM knowledge and dealer networks, but you’ve hit a ceiling—and you’re ready for more.

At Premier Marine , we build more than pontoons—we build partnerships. And we’re looking for a National Sales Manager who’s more than a strategist. Someone who lives in the trenches, loves the chase, and knows what truly drives dealer success. If you’re a player-coach , a humble leader , and a data-driven decision-maker , this is your moment.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Grounded in the Industry : You’ve earned your stripes in the marine world—fiberglass, pontoons, wake, tow—you’ve seen it, sold it, and helped make it better.
  • In the Trenches : You’re not just directing from a spreadsheet. You’re in the field, in the showroom, in the numbers—side-by-side with your dealers and reps.
  • Connected : Dealers return your calls. OEMs know your name. You’ve built a network by delivering—not by talking big.
  • A Player-Coach : You lead from the front. You coach, motivate, and set the pace by example. You hold yourself accountable first.
  • Humble & Data-Driven : You check your ego, ask good questions, and use data to lead—not just instincts. You want results and relationships.
  • Restless to Grow : You’re ready to scale something. You’re not looking for a maintenance role—you want momentum, impact, and permission to go.

YOUR IMPACT

You will:

  • Reinvigorate a national dealer network with trust, energy, and excellence.
  • Drive national sales growth —not through push, but through partnership and performance.
  • Model a “hands-on” culture where leaders sell, coach, and lead with humility and grit.
  • Bring national visibility to a bold premium brand that’s ready to lead the segment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Sales Strategy & Field Execution

  • Craft and execute a national growth strategy aligned with our brand and culture.
  • Manage forecasts, territory coverage, and program deployment with urgency and precision.
  • Use data to target high-impact opportunities and track what’s working—and what’s not.

Team & Territory Leadership

  • Lead by doing—mentoring, shadowing, selling.
  • Build a values-driven sales team (internal + rep network) that thrives under your guidance.
  • Set high standards, measure outcomes, and support your team to win.

Dealer Development & Network Expansion

  • Find and nurture the right dealers—not just the biggest.
  • Guide pricing and programs that protect brand value while driving sales volume.
  • Be the first call dealers make when they need help—and the last call before they make a decision.

Brand Visibility & Industry Leadership

  • Be the face of Premier at trade shows, dealer events, and in the field.
  • Help shape campaigns and product launches that move markets.
  • Keep a sharp eye on competitors, trends, and what the market is whispering before it shouts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 3–5+ years in national or multi-region marine sales leadership.
  • Proven success with dealer networks, rep management, and OEM relationships.
  • Hands-on leader with forecasting, budgeting, and team-building expertise.
  • Expert user of CRM tools and sales analytics.

Preferred

  • Experience in the pontoon / fiberglass / towboat segments.
  • Deep relationships with dealers in the premium marine lifestyle market.
  • Natural “coach” who has grown leaders and helped them thrive.

Bonus Points

  • Formal education in business or related field.
  • Recognized sales awards or peer acknowledgements.
  • A story of a struggling dealer you helped transform.

WHY WORK WITH US?

At Premier Marine, we’re not just building pontoons—we’re delivering the best pontoon experience, period. Family-owned roots. Industry respect. Serious momentum. We:

  • Are family owned and operated, not corporate. We put people first.
  • Are the fastest growing manufacturers in the pontoon industry.
  • Build better boats with best-in-class ride & handling.
  • Invest in people and partnerships, not transactions.
  • Are well-capitalized and growing fast, with a long-term horizon.
  • Develop talent from within through the Premier Leadership Academy (college-level development for emerging leaders).
  • Believe in work-life balance, public service, charitable giving, and community connection.
  • Foster a culture where showing up matters—and having fun matters too.
  • We’ve been ranked the #1 employer in town for a reason.

Core Values:

Integrity – Doing the right thing every time.

Excellence – Relentless pursuit of improvement.

Attitude – Contagious optimism that fuels a powerful can-do culture.

Collaboration – Leveraging teamwork to achieve world-class results

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $180K–$200K (commensurate with experience).
  • Incentive Opportunity: Up to $100K (performance-based).
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance.
  • Time Away: PTO, Elective PTO, Volunteer PTO, Boat Club PTO (yes, we get you on the water).
  • Additional perks are tied to performance, development, and community engagement.

Ready to Make Waves?

Done coasting? Tired of waiting for permission to build something great? Come help us scale a premium brand and a people-centered culture. Chart your course. Step aboard. Let’s go.

Apply Today – Send your resume, a short note on why Premier, and a quick example of a dealer relationship you’ve helped transform.
